About the Founder

Binghui Song is a London-based artist whose practice spans glass, metal, ceramics, and painting, exploring the vitality of materials and the physicality of making. She holds an MA from the Royal College of Art, a BA from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, and has studied goldsmithing at Tokyo University of the Arts. Her sculptural and painterly works often take on large-scale, organic forms that embody both the joy and sharpness of new life.

In addition to her studio practice, Binghui is the founder of Song Jewellery Limited, a design-led brand that reflects her sculptural sensibility through contemporary jewellery. The brand is rooted in material exploration and craftsmanship, offering wearable works that echo the energy of natural forms.

As a physical extension of the brand, she established SONG Art & Craft, an experiential studio located in London.

At the heart of this space are hands-on workshops, where participants can engage directly with materials and techniques — including glass, metal, and more — and create their own unique works of art. These workshops form the core of our studio practice, offering an open, welcoming environment for creative exploration.
