At SONG Art & Craft Workshops, we prepare materials, equipment, studio space, and instructor schedules in advance for every booking. Pricing depends on the workshop type, session length, and whether the booking is a shared group booking or an exclusive venue hire. Because workshops require advance setup and dedicated staffing, all bookings are subject to the terms below.
1. Our Studios & Workshop Sessions
SONG Art & Craft offers five specialist studio spaces, each designed for a different creative discipline. All private and group bookings include exclusive use of the relevant studio zone, all required materials, and professional instruction throughout your session.
1.1 Lampworking Studio (Zone 1)
Our lampworking sessions cover a range of glass-working techniques, including glass flower making and glass ring workshops. Guests work with torches and molten glass rods under close tutor supervision.

Session duration: 1.5 hours
Maximum capacity: 16 guests
Price: £72 per person (base fee: £1,152 for a group of 16)
Session duration: 2 hours
Maximum capacity: 16 guests
Price: £96 per person (base fee: £1,536 for a group of 16)
1.2 Glass Painting Studio (Zone 2)
Guests use specialist glass paints and leading techniques to create colourful painted glass pieces to take home. Suitable for all experience levels.
Example:
Session duration: 2 hours
Maximum capacity: 16 guests
Base fee: £672 (covers the full group booking, regardless of attendance)
1.3 Kiln Formed Glass Studio (Zone 2)
Kiln-formed glass sessions involve cutting, layering, and fusing glass pieces in our kiln. Pricing and duration are available on request and depend on the complexity of the project chosen.

1.4 Stained Glass Studio (Zone 2)
Our stained glass sessions are offered in two formats: a half-day introduction and a full-day deep-dive, allowing guests to complete more intricate and detailed projects.
Example:
Half-Day Session: 2.5 hours | Maximum 6 guests | £432 base fee
Full-Day Session: 5 hours | Maximum 6 guests | £648 base fee
1.5 Metalwork Jewellery Studio (Zone 3)
Our metalwork studio is available for intimate groups wishing to create handcrafted jewellery pieces using professional silversmithing and metalworking tools.
Example:
Maximum capacity: 4 guests

2. Base Pricing at a Glance
2.1 Group Discount (10+ Guests)
If your group comprises 10 or more guests, you may be eligible for a group discount on the per-person rate. Discounts are available at our discretion and subject to session type and availability.

3. Standard Group Bookings (Non-Exclusive)
Standard group bookings allow groups to attend a workshop together without reserving the entire venue or studio exclusively. This option is ideal for groups who want to participate in a workshop together while the studio remains open to other workshop participants.
During standard group bookings, other sessions and customers may be present in the venue at the same time.
What a Standard Group Booking Includes
When you book a standard group workshop with SONG Art & Craft, your group will receive:
Reserved places within the selected workshop session
A dedicated group introduction and demonstration at the start of the workshop
Professional guidance from our instructors throughout the session
Access to all required workshop materials and equipment
Technical assistance is available whenever required during the workshop
Although other workshop sessions may be running simultaneously within the venue, our instructors will ensure that your group receives clear guidance and support throughout the activity.
4 Private Group Booking (Exclusive Use of the Zone)
Private Zone Booking allows your group to reserve one specific studio zone exclusively, while the rest of the venue continues to operate with other workshops and customers.
This option is ideal for groups who want a private experience within a specific workshop area, without booking the entire venue.
4.1 What is a Private Zone Booking
At SONG Art & Craft, our workshops are divided into multiple studio zones (e.g. Lampworking, Mixed Media, Metalwork, etc.).
With a Private Zone Booking:
Your group will have exclusive use of the selected studio zone
No other customers will be allowed in that specific zone during your session
Other studio zones will continue operating with separate workshops and customers
4.2 What is Included
A Private Zone Booking includes:
Exclusive access to your selected workshop zone (e.g. Lampworking Studio)
A dedicated session for your group only within that zone
All required materials and tools for the workshop
Full setup of equipment prior to your arrival
A structured group demonstration at the start of the session
Professional instructor guidance throughout the workshop
Ongoing technical support whenever needed
4.3 Pricing
Private Zone Bookings are based on:
the selected workshop type
the maximum capacity of that zone
the base workshop pricing

5. Exclusive Full Venue Hire
If your group would like sole, uninterrupted access to the entire SONG Art & Craft studio, with no other customers present anywhere on the premises, you can book our Exclusive Full Venue Hire.
This option is ideal for corporate team-building days, large private celebrations, company away-days, and any group that wants a fully tailored, premium experience with complete privacy.
5.1 What Exclusive Full Venue Hire Includes:
Private celebrations
Team-building sessions
Groups wanting a fully private experience
Clients who want to hire the full venue for their own workshop

Entire studio premises reserved exclusively for your group, all zones, all areas.
All other public bookings are suspended for the duration of your hire.
Full team of SONG Art & Craft instructors and staff dedicated solely to your group
Personalised instructor attention across all activities throughout your session
Permission to bring your own food, drinks, and refreshments onto the premises
Ability to decorate and personalise the studio space (within reasonable bounds: please confirm in advance)
A uniquely immersive and private creative experience for your entire group
Please note that exclusive bookings provide guided workshop instruction, not continuous one-to-one tutoring or concierge-style service. Our instructors will be available throughout to support the group and provide technical guidance as needed.
5.3 Pricing: Exclusive Full Venue Hire Surcharge
Because exclusive bookings require us to close the studio area to the public and allocate staff and resources for a private session, an exclusivity surcharge applies on top of the base workshop fee. The Exclusive Full Venue Hire fee is calculated by applying a surcharge to your session's base fee.
6. Payment
To secure and confirm any private or group booking, full prepayment of 100% of the total booking fee is required at the time of booking.
No booking is confirmed until full payment has been received
Bookings are charged based on the reserved capacity, not actual attendance
No refunds are given for guests who do not attend, but we can offer to reschedule their session.
7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Due to the advance preparation, staffing commitments, and dedicated resources required for all private and group bookings, the following cancellation and rescheduling terms apply to all bookings.
7.1 Rescheduling / Additional Terms
Rescheduling is permitted as a one-time courtesy for cancellations made with 7 or more days' notice
Weekend booking rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Please contact us as early as possible
Rescheduled dates are subject to studio and instructor availability at the time of the request
8. Attendance, Timing & Conduct
8.1 Attendance
Booking fees are calculated and charged based on the number of guests reserved, not the number who attend on the day
No refunds or credits are provided for guests who do not attend
If your confirmed group size changes after payment, please notify us as early as possible;
8.2 Timekeeping & Late Arrival
Sessions begin at the scheduled start time
All sessions will end at the originally scheduled finish time, regardless of the time your group arrives
Late arrivals will receive the remainder of the session time only; no extensions are offered
We strongly recommend arriving 10 minutes before your session start time
8.3 Food & Drinks on the Premises
Standard Group Bookings: Food and beverages brought from outside are not permitted in the studio during your session
Exclusive Full Venue Hire: You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and refreshments. Please advise us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements
8.4 Conduct & Safety
All guests must follow instructor's guidance and studio's safety procedures at all times
Our workshops involve heat, glass, and specialist tools, safety is our first priority
SONG Art & Craft reserves the right to ask any guest to leave the session if their conduct poses a safety risk or disrupts the experience of others
Children are welcome, subject to minimum age requirements, please confirm before booking
9. Changes Made by SONG Art & Craft
In exceptional circumstances, such as instructor illness, safety concerns, equipment issues, or unforeseen operational disruptions, SONG Art & Craft reserves the right to reschedule a confirmed booking.
In such cases, we will contact you as promptly as possible and offer one of the following remedies:
A full refund (100%) of the booking fee paid
A gift card credit of 110% of the booking fee, valid for future use
Rescheduling to an alternative available date of your choice
10. General Terms
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment
SONG Art & Craft reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to workshop format where operational or safety requirements necessitate
We reserve the right to decline or modify bookings where genuine operational constraints apply
These policies apply to all private and group bookings across all studio zones
SONG Art & Craft reserves the right to update these policies at any time; the version displayed on our website is always the most current
